Biography

Dr Lizette Olivier
Management educator and WIL leader.

I work at the intersection of management education, work-integrated learning, industry engagement and graduate career readiness.

My academic work is informed by extensive industry experience and by a continuing interest in how people learn to operate effectively in complex organisations. I am particularly interested in the capabilities that remain distinctly valuable as AI changes the way technical work is performed.

My current work explores how authentic industry experiences, reflective learning and management education can help graduates develop judgement, communication, collaboration, adaptability, resilience and confidence.

This website is a place to develop those ideas in public — connecting research, educational practice and the realities of contemporary work.
